Pawlett ponds

Four lakes, between Bridgewater and highbridge

about pawlett ponds

Pawlett Ponds is a well-stocked venue located between Bridgwater and Highbridge. The site features four lakes with a mix of carp, bream, roach, rudd, perch, eels and chub.

The lakes

Lakes 1, 2 & 3 offer carp to around 12lb, bream to 4lb, perch to 3lb, eels to 4lb and chub to 2lb.

  • Lake 1 has nine upgraded platforms, including a swim for disabled anglers, and is great for parent-and-child fishing.
  • Lake 2 features cut swims with grass aisleways and allows anglers to face either Lake 1 or Lake 3.
  • Lake 3 can be fished from the shared aisleway or from three large wooden platforms on the far bank.
  • Lake 4 (Specimen Lake) holds carp up to 22lb. A minimum 10lb line is required. Fishing is from three large platforms only, there’s no access to the side or far banks.
